Theory Test:This is a test that is carried out on a computer in an official test centre allover the country. Our local test centre is based in Croydon town centre.This test is divided into two sections and in order to pass the theory testyou need to be successful in both sections. The first part of the theorytest is multiple-choice on where you are 57 minutes to complete 50questions. In order to achieve a pass on this section you will need to get43 out of 50 answers correct.The second part of the test is based on hazard perception on where youview 14 video clips with 15 developing hazards, in order to gain a passon this section of the test you will need to get 44 out of 75 correct.Please be aware that your theory test pass certificate expires after twoyears of passing the test.For more information please do not hesitate to contact us or click herefor the official government website. Practical test:As soon as the driving instructor feels that you are at an adequate level,then they will tell you to book your driving test.The practical test is divided into three sections,1) Eyesight check- Before you are asked to get into the vehicle the examiner will ask you to read them a vehicle number plate from approximately 20 meters away.2) Vehicle check- on this section of the test the examiner asks you to tell them basic safety checks of the vehicle such as checking fluids, brakes, power steering, lights etc.3) Driving the vehicle- this is when you drive the vehicle for roughly a 40 minute period on where you will be expected to demonstrate your ability to drive correctly and safely.
